Hi everyone,

I'm trying to set the timing on my newly installed
AVP engine (88 wbx manual tranny).  According to
what I've learned from the archives, I'm to bypass
the idle stabilizer, set the timing to 5 degrees
BTDC, reconnect the idle stabilizer, and then
set the idle speed to 850.  Is this correct?
What am I missing?
