I was doing some work on my 87' Syncro yesterday and managed to drill right through one of the plastic coolant pipes that runs the lenght of the van. So I was thinking about just cutting through it at the leak and slipping a rubber hose (radiator hose) in between to rejoin it. 2 Question are: I this a good Idea? I don't see why not myself.
