Okay, so I've pulled the dash. But now there's the brake m/c and booster that have to come out to get to the pedal assembly. What's the procedure there?

Disconnect the MC from the booster, pull it off the booster and wire it out of the way.

There are four bolts that hold the pedal assembly bracket to the dashboard, all are accessable without going behind the pedal assembly. Two go through the top of the fresh air duct and wiring will probably be covering them.

The pedal assembly will lift up, but will not come out until you remove the clutch pedal, get the circlip off, push the pivot pin toward the brake pedal and slip the clutch pedal out through the bottom. The rest of the assembly with come out the top of the dash. Then you can separate the booster from the pedal assy bracket.

I disconnected the MC the first time I removed the pedal assembly (yes, I did it twice), but didn't bother the second time, just to save some time. Remember, you can R&R the MC anytime without removing the dash.

I would R&R the heater motor and put new seals in the airbox now. I am waiting for a reason to open my dash up to replace the seals, but I can seal them off externally for summer use, so it isn''t a priority right now.

Good luck,
