"I like my Berg short shift kit and shifter extension, but the best mod for me was the sew-on Wheelskin leather steering wheel cover. www.wheelskins.com" I did both those things too. I didn't like the feel of the length of the shifter with the extension on so I left it off. The adapter raised the shifter just enough so my long arms, resting on the arm rest meets the shifter just right. I also got the wheelskins sew-on cover and heartily agree it's a great add. I put it on the '88 Jetta wheel I have so it's extra thick, just right for me. Another van mod: about $6-8K in the bank to keep just ahead of the crisis curve. :) Bob Stevens '87 Westy Syncro http://groups.msn.com/BobsPhotoShare http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tiico _________________________________________________________________ Get business advice and resources to improve your work life, from bCentral. http://special.msn.com/bcentral/loudclear.armx |
