i take my dog camping everytime i go......make sure to bring towels in case it rains...noting worse then sleeping with a dripping wet mutt....i have an airtight tote for his food so no bugs get in it....and usually i tie him to the bus, or to an anchor that goes into the ground (got it at the pet store) i used to bring tennis balls, but i read that with larger dogs, the ball can go right down thier throat and choke them, so now i bring a nerf football or some other large ball..... hope you guys have a blast....dogs make the best camping companion imo Richard Golen <rgolen@UMASSD.EDU> wrote: Hi,
In December we adopted a Siberian Husky.....with camping season approaching soon, I want to take her camping for the first time. Any suggestions out there for the "first time" camping dogs? Thanks.
