South of Moab 15 or so miles, take your first right at the top of the first hill climb onto a dirt road that will take you to "Behind the Rocks". Good area for some back country driving. Bring your mountain bike! This is the place!

Springbreak is upon us and it's time for a road trip. Anybody with firsthand info could you share recommendations for: - hotels - restaurants, microbreweries, bakeries, cafes - easy scenic trails for a stock syncro ( no rock crawling ) - garages in and around Moab, Canyonlands, Monument Valley. Mesa Verde. second week of March. I have some guide books but would like your personal input. We visited Arches several years ago but in the heat of the summer.
