I took my fresh water cap off, & set it in a safe place where it would be handy, & where I would have it at a moments notice, the first sign of spring. Oh, if it were only so... Until I find it,I bought a 59 cent rubber stopper at Lowes. It goes in from the inside, & stops the water from leaking out pretty good. To remove it & drain the tank, I just use a large phillips screw driver to push it up. Now, where did I set it, I know it has to be around here somewhere! JC... I read the request as wanting a new drain cap for the water reservoir, I need one also, and it is definitely NOT the same size as a garden hose fitting. I have tried many different caps on it and have yet to find one that fits, right now ours has the Alaskan repair, duct tape, but it still leaks a little. If anyone out there has either a a source for the drain cap, > or a couple to spare, "caverat" and I both need one. > > Mark in AK > 87 Westy syncro |
