I was having issues with my shifting feeling was hard going into gear, I went under the van and found were the shift rod comes out near the gas tank well it looked kinda gummed up with dirt so I strayed lube job on it and made sure it got into the plastic bushing. wow this is like the trick its smooth going to all 4 gears. question is it hard to replace that plasic part and if its not broken don't worry?

Thanks much Joe 85gl
