Hi all;

It's getting warmer up here in the Northeast and I'm thinking about hitting a local boneyard to get a different fuel regulator and injectors for my Tiico equipped Westy. I've heard that a good setup can be obtained from an Audi A-4. Anybody got any thoughts on this? I'm open to suggestions, especially if you can back them up with something (personal experience is good). As to the Tiico motor and setup. I have had to make a few modifications to get it the way I want it, as one would with a hybred vehicle, but at 30K and about 3 yrs of operation I think it's the best setup if you decide to go non-waterboxer. I still haven't gotten over feeling like I'm making up for my older, less well maintained brethren by stepping on it when entering the highway. And seeing the look on the face of the guy with his 8 cylinder SUV, who was on the tail of this 20 yr old Vanagon all around the highway entrance, as he recedes into the background, feels pretty good too!

See ya on the road,

Dave B '83 Tiico Westy '83 WBX Westy
