If the claim of "four feet" is correct, given that the Vanagon is 13 feet long, that would be a 31% grade, or a 17 degree angle! That's awfully steep. A good set of wheel ramps will get you at least half that, though, which may be sufficient.

I dunno, I've never bled a wasserboxer. Bleeding diesels is easy. (Bently doesn't even tell you to lift the front of the diesel.)
