They are real wheeler-dealers, always looking to squeese the last buck out of anyone who comes along, and since everything is sold AS-IS and on a junk slip, the buyer doesn't have any recourse.

I still say it goes for $1500+ Let's hope prospective buyer's realize what it would take to bring a salvage vehcile back to legal status. In the SF area, I coudln;t even find a place willing to do lamp certifications. They said they do so few that it was not worth getting a license for it.
