Any particular sort of light? Does it run on its own batteries or the van's?

I was looking at a $10 tent light at Target that attaches with magnets - two strong magnets that you put inside and outside your tent. It looked like it might be useful in my van. Right now I have a proper lamp clamped onto a bit of hardware inside. But my van has mostly been parked in driveways and connected to the rest of the world with a power cord - though I got a compact fluorescent bulb so that once I get a second battery rigged up the light won't eat too much power.

Anyway, I was wondering what sort of light you attached.

My favorite mod: a light directly over the sliding door of my Westy, put in by the previous owner. I'd have never thought to do it myself, but now I couldn't live without it. It's great being able to open the sliding door at night and immediately flick on a light without having to reach across the van. It's a very useful mod that's also easy and cheap - the best kind.
