Subject: anyone have probs with sliding window seals?
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

hey all, i recently purchased new window seals for my 87 syncro westy project. today, my body guy and i started to instal the windows. all was relatively fine except for the sliding windows. the seals seemed different then the rest too, in that they had no definet curves to them like the other window seals did. the rubber also seemed to be much beeferier then the rest which led us to think they were after market rather then vw ( i purchased them from one of our online vendors but do not need to disclose the name because i do not bash like that). so what is happenig, it will not go in at all. the other windows are fine, the sliders will not go in. no matter what we do, soapy water, slapping the glass, heating the ruber in hot water, nothing. like stated they do seem different then the rest of the set. so any input here? TIA jason
