Chris: I have used shoe paint to paint the head rests and some of the trim in the van. The paint I used comes in spray cans and the paint is made to flex as the shoe "walks". In 4 years, I have not had the paint peel off. I'd recommend this. Try your biggest (chain) shoe store. malcolm
