The kit is easy to install. It didn't take me 30 minutes including hunting
around for my tools. I am 5'-11" but I still used the extension in the kit
which puts my hand at shift knob level with my arm on the arm rest. Very
comfortable for me. If you don't like or want the extension, toss it out.
It comes in the kit regardless.
