There is a relatively small sub-group called the SoCal VW Campers.

Two of the members, Fred Koester and Shari Rooks, are (so far as I know) planning a camping trip to the Anza-Borrego State Park for the weekend of March 26-27-28. With all of the recent rains, there could be a spectacular show of wild-flowers at that time.

Anyone interested, please let me know. And, if you have recommendations about the park (where to camp, what-all to do, etc.), please reply.

Volks,

Spring is in the air, "Somewhere" .... time to begin thinking about "VW Campout Event" plans for 2004.

For your reference,

I've put together a list of what may be the "Major" North American VW Van Events with a Campout Component for 2004.

http://www.roadhaus.com/schedule.html

If I've missed any I'm sure someone will let me know :)

I've not tired to identify every VW Event, rather I've focused on the "Major" events most of which have a "Campout Component" and a "Van/Bus Theme".

Note .... Some of the annual events have yet to set their 2004 dates. I've included the 2003 dates for a reference and will update as soon as date info is available.

I hope you find it useful.
