Hi Malcolm,

I forgot to mention that I changed the fuel filter early today. My distributor cap and rotor are new (no points). My plug wires are new (Bosch).

I had to go to the store a few minutes ago, walked outside and realized that my GL, now cannibalized, will not run. So, I was a bit peeved and got in Billy, started him up, kept the rpms up, and went down the road. Even at 55 mph at a steady pace, it began to load up.

When it began to load up, I could "punch through it" and sort of clear it out. I made it to the store and back, but when I let it idle in the driveway, it began to load up again.

I'm stumped.

Thanks,

Warren
