Hi Ken,

I'll do the 1.5 volt battery test this morning. I bought a Bosch 02 sensor from VolksCafe, but it was the one on which I spliced my wiring harness ($39 vs. $135). There were three wires. Two were white (identical as far as I could tell) and one was black. I oriented the new O2 sensor just like the old one (both white wires on top) and switched them one by one (just in case the white ones were somehow different). I crimped the wires, and taped them independently with 3M electrical tape.

VolksCafe says that they use this lesser expensive one at their shop all the time with no problems. Same part, different wiring harness.

Thanks again.

Warren
