While we are at this discussion, I'll put in the archives that there is an excellent manual called "Solex: Selection and Tuning of the Carburetor". It's 15 megs. I Googled this but all the links seem to be broken. I have a copy of the PDF file if you want it.

While this is for Solex carbs, there is an excellent discussion on carbs in general that I, as a 'learner', found to be excellent.

One nice thing about Weber carbs is that there are several books written about them and lots of help available (but not on this list).

Just a jab at EFI, I hope that you all are following the thread re Warren's "Billy Bones" EFI problems. Malcolm (91 carb'ed syncro westy)
