Hi Craig and Listmembers,

I'm not sure how they will hold up, but I just replaced ALL of my heater hoses with Gates 5/8" line from my FLAPS. I think I bought about 35 feet of it. I also replace ALL of the coolant hoses on my bus with hoses from VolksCafe. I've only had my new engine idling for about a half hour total, but so far no leaks! Over the course of the next year or so, I ought to be able to give the list a report regarding hoses, what's good and what's bad.

Does anyone have any experience just running standard 3/4" or other diameter heater hose from the passenger-side cylinder head to heater hoses under the van? I seem to remember that one of the hoses seemed to have different diameters at each end. Anyway, I'm looking for a cheap, easy fix that I don't have to mess with. Cheap and not so easy is also okay. I'm willing to fabricate hoses with joiners as long as I can get the parts from home depot, NAPA or someplace like VolksCafe, which is pretty local for me. Snip>
