Hi John and others
I own a shop that makes custom sunshades and bras/masks for Class "A"
motorcoaches. im in the process of making a prototype sunscreen for the
68 -79 bus and 80-91 vanagon. i will offer it for inside snap on
installation to match interior snaps for the westi and weekender
interiors. im also doing a no drill opption for the persons that dont
want to drill or install a snap stud into there baby. we even have a
system to snap it directly to the glass (way cool). the Sunsceen is a
90-95% sunblock woven screen for UV protection and will reduce the
interior temps 20 to 35 deg. also the cool part is that in the day time
you can see out but no one can see in. but at night when you turn on
the light in the vehicle you have two options and that is to pull the
curtains or charge admission since they will be able to see in and you
wont be able to see out. Ive been making these for over 5 years and as
soon as i get the proto type up i will post it for a vanagon list
special. the material comes in 14 solid colors and all sorts of floral
and leaf patterns, even palm trees and stripes. if you want to see a
small sampling of the screens we presently make check out our website
at <www.fanchers.com>. The web site is still in work so please dont
harrass me about it. Thanks Jonce
btw ive not had time to come up with prices yet either, but as soon as
i do i will post info and pics for all to view.
