Had nothing to do with how well it perfomed. From my view point 134a is 2nd best. new car owners have no choice. 134a is the standard. If you want max performance in a hot, humid summertime climate - Alabama for example - stick with the R12. If you are in the high dry country of northern New Mexico, 134a is great. Me?
