>To quote a buddy of mine," I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good >once as I ever was!"
An elderly couple was living in southern Cal., when one morning the husband was setting out for a long list of errands. Knowing how forgetful and confused he could get, his wife gave him the cell phone in case he got lost. About 20 minutes after he left, she heard on the radio that someone was driving the wrong way on I-405. Knowing that was the general area her husband was headed, she called him on the cell phone, "Dear, someone's driving the wrong way on 405, be careful out there." He responded,"Someone? Hell, there's hundreds of them!!!!" DM&FS |
