Subject: Coil-Sert Thread Repair Kit for drain plug FOR SALE
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hello, I have a Coil-Sert thread repair kit for sale.

The kit includes the tap, the coil insertion tool and five (5) inserts. I am also including a special drill bit made for fine cuts in aluminum or brass in the correct size.

After many oil changes, the oil drain plug on my 86 Westy became stripped, and this was the most permanent way to fix it. It was only used once, it worked quite well and I now have a stainless steel coil insert which should last much longer than the original threaded aluminum. The original drain plug can be used in the new insert.

I bought this kit new and it cost approximately US$90. If anyone is interested, I can ship it to anywhere in Canada or Continental USA for US$50. The kit is P/N: IK406-14. Photo of the kit is available for e-mail.

Thanks,

Maurizio
