This is an interesting twist, but not reality. In the scrap yards that I've been in, Vanagons sit for years, because every bit sells out of them, where as other brands, go to the crusher years earlier. As for this Vanagon, it would have sold on the List server after someone got it running for a minimum of $4000.00. Please do not buy E-bay Vanagon parts
