I'm not so sure we even need an expansion bottle in the front when all we're really trying to do is purge air from the cooling system. I read an advertisement not too long ago for a fitting that was specifically designed to bleed air from a fluid system without leaking fluid. It used a small piece of Gore-Tex, which air can pass through but not liquid. Unfortunately, my old computer died and I have not recovered the data from it yet. Anybody familiar with these?
