My girl friend has fixed both fan belts and hoses with pantyhose on her
Jetta and Syncro Vanagon. Held up all day. Once she got it to a mechanic in
Illinois who "Fixed" the belt, laughed at her temp fix and charged her
$60.00. She got 10 miles, belt broke, pantyhose went back on and made it
another 50 miles........
