William, I , too, searched West Marine's site and could not find anything. I am sure that is where I bought it, and that it is called something like "high temperature exhaust hose repair kit ". Perhaps it is an in-store item only. It is a fiberglass strip impregnated with the resin, which cures quickly after being submerged in water. I also remember it being fairly expensive..about $20. Cheap insurance nonetheless. It is possibly the messiest stuff I have ever handled and I found that wearing 2 pairs of gloves was helpful because the resin sets quickly and will goop up the outer pair before you are done.So you can peel off that outer pair and start fresh. For now I have posted a photo of the bandage on my hose so you can see what it looks like. See it here http://www.intercom.net/~boatshop/VWHoseBandage.jpg

When I am rid of this cold I will make a trek out to find it and let y'all know.
