Subject: searching for a new van
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello all,

I'm in search of a new more reliable vanagon then the one I have, any sales going on?

Specifically looking for good body condition vanagaon, doesn't need to be a westfalia, but I would consider one. I like syncros, but don't need one, middle seats are not a neccesity, just a good solid engine and body.

By the by, anybody interested in an 82 vanagon with a converted engine in it? I'm only getting rid of it because I didn't install the engine, and the person who did forgot to leave a manual. So wires are every which way and I can't diagnose or find the problem all the time. I'm sure then engine would be good if someone wanted to pull it and put it in something else, then you'd know where all the hidden relays and whosit's are. It's a 1.8l inline four, body is an 82 diesal with the huge sun roof.

Many thanks to all those that have helped me work on it and offered advice.

Jessup
