4. And, not exactly related to the heater - How do I remove spade terminals inside electrical plugs, specifically the cylindrical connectors for the climate/ac switches? I need to replace one of the female terminals, but can't seem to remove it from the plug.

These contacts usually have a very small barb that sticks out of the side and prevents it from falling out, of the connector housing. Most require special tools to remove properly. I have found that with a very small ice pick and a good flashlight, you can jag the barb to the piont that it with let go. Eric
