Here are some more tips for gas tank installing: lengthen the hoses that attach to the tank with new longer ones.

Then the tank can be connected to the hoseson the ground before installing.The hardest to do once installed are the two small tank vents-it really is a piece of cake now.

Also put some silicone on the crossover overflow grommets and filler vent grommet- it makes it easier to push the connectors on after the tank is installed.

Also, for installing, I find it's easier to have the tank rest on my chest instead of blocks. I pre-position the straps and bolts so i can grab them after the tank is pushed up.

Have your head towards the front of the van- you can also use some longer bolts than which came with the tank. You are now a human floor jack and have more control -push the tank edge back into the frame then up.
