On my '75 I used a transparent plastic filter that was hanging on one of
those "HELP!" cards at an auto parts store.  I think it was meant for some
kind of Chrysler.  Anyway, it was nice because you could see how much crud
it had accumulated and whether any fuel was actually getting to it.
