THAT is a good idea. I've had WBX vanagons for years, I know how to bleed them properly. This one is running hot, I'm not yet sure why.

you could pull the radiator and have it flow tested at a local radiator shop. you could also use a raytek type infrared temperature measuring device to "see" the different temps around the system to get an idea of how its operating.
