I can't comment on when the Westfalia wiring changed as I have an '84
7-pass but I have to say that Bentley is also *very* poor in it's
documentation of my van's electrical as well.  In the middle of redoing
my wiring (pulled the dash for a heater motor replacement and doing a lot
of projects while it's all apart) anf their schmatics for 80-85's is
really terrible in general.  1986 and after seem terriffic with multiple
diagrams for each part of the harness but the older ones are lucky to
have one poorly labeled schematic each.  I find them hard to follow an
