The canvas "bead" will be tucked inside the aluminum groove for the top. The "bead" will be on the inside edge of the aluminum trim on the roof/body of the van/bottom part of the canvas. You'll notice that the aluminum trim rails attach differently for the top and bottom. The groove is hidden for the top rails and shows for the bottom rails. suggestion: when you attach the top of the canvas to the fiberglass pop-top, pull the front, front conrners and sides as straight and snug as possible before putting in the screws. This will reduce "pucker" verticallly. I'll attache a link here to pix of mine and you'll see the pucker I'm talking about. If the above needs better explaining, let me know. I just did this job about 3-4 weeks ago. http://tinyurl.com/2ytcu http://tinyurl.com/2777j Bob Stevens http://groups.msn.com/BobsPhotoShare http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tiico _________________________________________________________________ Get rid of annoying pop-up ads with the new MSN Toolbar – FREE! http://clk.atdmt.com/AVE/go/onm00200414ave/direct/01/ |
