Anybody have any luck dying the color ? Will it take color dye. Mine is off an 85 and has the "gold yellow" and would like of course a "gray" shade to go along with the new gray canvas and blue gray interior of my 87. Any ideas would be appreciated, like tips on removal (look difficult) I know painting does now work as a buddy tried it and you loose all the softness. I am considering just using a nice gray trunk carpet and gluing it to the flocking, getting some nice gray fabric and making up some panels to attach somehow. Any thoughts? The flock is actually nice and cleaned up well, its just the color. Thanks, Doug |
