I never remove the >faceplate, why should i?:) I engrave my name into expensive or stealable items eg cameras, car stereo components etc. I have contemplated PAINTING such items too, with say a broad wraparound purple stripe that can't be scratched off or removed with solvents. A big fat engraving of your name doesn't hurt. But all this might destroy resalability for you. I have thought of putting crap-brand logos on headunits, but if the thief knows about stereos he will recognize it despite this. |
