I changed to Mobil 1 ATF several years ago. At the time the tranny became a little quieter and shifter a bit smoother. It was time to change the ATF so I honestly can't say that the improvement was due sole to using the synthetic or just replacing the old fluid. I don't have enough miles built up to rave about great long term benefits but in a few years I promise to let the list know.
