I would say we would need to know exactly how it is overheating first. Will it overheat if it just sits and idles, or will it only do it going down the road? Also do you hear the radiator fan coming on when the van is getting hot? Have you felt on the radiator when the van was overheating to see if it is getting hot? These are all very important things that you can check and it will cost you no money. Just a little time. From the answers to these questions I can narrow it down a lot. is there a way to tell if an overheating condition is caused by a bad water pump or a bad radiator, without throwing $ at the car just changing stuff until it's fixed? 2.1L Wasser. TIA John |
