I agree that retaliatory negative feedback is a serious problem with ebay's system, though. I have one from a guy who they eventually kicked off the site for scamming people, but they didn't remove the negative feedback he left. I will think twice in the future before leaving negative feedback for someone who has scammed me, because I know I'll get my feedback rating dinged if I do. Might be better to just walk away.
