Did anybody respond to this? I would love to find something more durable than those disposable cheapy plastic end caps.

Hi Volks; I was taking a look at OE Vee Dub's web site ( http://www.oeveedub.com/ mentioned in a posting) and noticed they had steel bumper end caps as well as the plastic ones Both from Denmark and maybe the same manufacturer. Interestingly enough the steel caps, although heavier, are cheaper than the plastic caps. Anyone have any experience with steel caps? I think they may be a good idea, but would like to hear from the group an this one.
