I don't know but here are the problems I have had. Battery is low, starter tries but can't turn over. Charge battery all good. Starter won't engage, it clicks but the spline doesn't pop all the way out and engage. Bump the starter with hammer and try again in warmer weather and it works. Replace or rebuild starter. Turn key, nothing happens. Check switch in shift column if auto. If you push on the drive selector to the right it may start. Replace switch. Weak starter turn over slowly with full battery, bad wires and grounds. Cut back bad wires and replace solder and shrink tube up. Good luck.

Would it be the switch? What is that thing with the oil light and that the battery light does not come on at all, not even for that half second.

I just cleaned all the ground connections that goes to the starter, the battery is strong. I tested the starter out of the engine with the jumper cable and the solenoid clicked and the motor ran. I had it in a bell housing to have the bushing for it.

So, I guess this is not a common thing and hopefully some of you could answer it. With respect to the Honorable Members of the List, Zoltan
