see the item on the lower left "Mail lists," click

look down the new main page for the link that has "Vanagon mailing list
message archive" to do searches on past emails and the link that has
"Vanagon mailing list file archive" for a group of files about some
common problems.

Once you are there,    http://gerry.vanagon.com/archives/vanagon.html
, you can bookmark it so you will only have one step instead of three
next time.

Do searches for short periods of time, say about a year to speed the
process.   Also, since problems repeat themselves, you will usually find
something in the first year or two anyway.
