If the buyer were to choose not to pay he can be taken to court, where he
will have to honor the "bid" agreement or pay all listing fees and
re-listing fees plus any difference, if the van re-sells for less. This is
covered in the "fine print" that governs all transactions on E-Bay.

Don't waste your time unless its big bucks and you got a very good attorney
on the other end.
(Been there, attorney discouraged me saying "Collection will cost more than
the reward".)
