Subject: Re: Vanagon trailer hitch

I have to vouch for the Dennis Haynes reciever hitch. This thing is by far the best thing out there. It is not cheap ($200 when I bought it a few years ago) but it is AMAZING. It plugs into the rails like the BD one but it has a 2" receiver built in. With the fiberglass bumpers you need to do a bit of trimming but it works great and looks smooth. I've had a bike rack on there to Mexico with no incident. Even with the seperate bolt on part that stiffens the tow hook racks I've always thought it was a 1/2 cocked solution to the problem.
