Fellow Vanagonauts, OK, I just buckled down and spent the $$ to get my A/C working. Summer in Florida in a vehicle with more glass than a two-story home can be tough, not impossible, but tough (I did last summer with no A/C). I also have been working to keep my "Ziegelstein Lost" (so named recently) in good running condition -- it is my daily driver, and weekend transporter of all things. So, I found a "Vanagon" emblem at GoWesty -- that's coming. My problem is this -- finding a Carat emblem. So, anyone have any leads, or, better still, any ideas on making it new again? I'm working on one such solution -- I got some stainless steel "tape" from JCW, and will attempt to etch out new lettering to make my existing, dull, Carat emblem new again. But, I'm hoping some of you will point me to an easier route (crossing fingers). I realize that many of you out there may still have snow on the ground, but I can feel summer coming down here (spring has been in progress since last summer :-), if you know of any solutions to my emblem problem, please let me know. Thanks!!! -Robert PS - Ziegelstein = hoch Deutsche for Brick, Lost = Scottish Celtic for "Inn" or "place to stay"
