Warren the lifters can sound like this. You can put your hand over the tial pipe and look for leaks or have somebody do that while you look around. As I recall you are down on power when the engine warms up that to me is to rich or to lean. When the engine warms up the injection system trys to go into closed loop this is when the throttle switch come into play the throttle switch tells the injection the engine if the engine is at idle or not. The oxy sensor trys to fine tune the mixture but will make the engine full rich if its fouled. I use studs for the exhuast on the # 3 and #2 exhuast ports and bolts at the #1 and #4 the bolts need to be 30 mm long or they can strip the head threads right out Bob
