Thanks all for your help. Your help have helped me to keep my -86 Caravelle C on the road, but now it is over. I was leaking coolant from the heads, both rear CV joints done (noise during turns), exhaust leak and a oil leak of the size of an average oil well.

I topped it up with oil and drove it to the junkyard. When there, it was almost all out of oil (15 minute drive). My wife was driving behind me with our other car and we had to stop half way on a gas station so she could wipe off oil from her windscreen.

It's a sad day... we had many nice trips with that van. Oh well, I'll start looking for a new Caravelle. This time I think I'll try to go for a proper Westfalia or Joker. A Syncro would also be nice.

Thanks for now

Best regards

Per Martin
