Why not just make your own awning with either right sized tarp or canvas with grommets, some clamps to clamp it to the rain gutter and a couple aluminum telescoping tent poles and nylon cord and those tent spikes to attach the nylon to stabilize the poles and outward end of the canvas? (long sentence, or what?) Log onto either Bus Depot or Go Westy for the rubber seal for the pop top. Bob Stevens http://groups.msn.com/BobsPhotoShare http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tiico
Hello to everyone on the list. Went camping this weeknd after our cat converter and o2 sensor was replaced. "Granny" is doing superb and was great going up and downthe hills of Santa Cruz. What type of part should I be looking at to replace the rubber around my pop top? Its being held in place by trusty duck tape but the 2 year old job is loosing its stick. Any ideas folks? Also, where to get cheap awnings? I did a little research and have found some for 200 and up. Anyone know of a cheap place to get an awning, or anyone want to sell an awning?
