I've tried several tapping fluids which are formulated for aluminum. I still have found nothing better than good old kerosene. Works well for tapping, drilling and cutting. Also, dipping a file in kerosene when filing aluminum will help prevent pinning. I do not agree with you on one point: NEVER use a crescent wrench. George |
